How to Pack Camper Medications
Continuing administration of your child's medications during camp is an important responsibility. We ask your cooperation in packaging them according to our guidelines.
First, please DO NOT pack medications in your campers luggage, even non-prescription medications. All medications must be submitted to, and administered by, adult staff (this requirement is State Law).
Prescription drugs must be in in the original container with a Licensed Physician's instructions. If there have been any changes to dosage or frequency, it is important to inform our staff of these changes at the Health Check-In station on opening day. You will be asked to initial our medical dosage log to insure that we have proper instructions for dispensing medication to your child.
Please put all medications in a Ziplock bag along with written instructions about dispensing vitamins or any other over-the-counter medications. We have the following over-the counter medication available at camp if needed: Ibuprofen and Acetaminophen (both adult and children's), Benadryl, Bismuth liquid and tablets, and cough drops/syrup.
Example of how to pack medications for camp:

Airport/Train Pick-up:
Please pack medication & the Health History Form in carry on bag (check current airport carry-on guidelines) in case luggage is delayed for any reason. These will be collected by the staff who meet your child at the train station or airport. Include clear written instructions for all medication in the plastic bag. We will verify this information once your child arrives at camp.
Thank you for your cooperation!
