Annual Support Campaign Kicks Off!!!
Over 50 people attended the camp's 2007 Annual Support Campaign Kick Off Dinner at Bali Hai restaurant, Thursday, January 25th. The campaign goal is to raise $135,000 in support of our camps. Chaired by Paul Neves of Financial Strategies, Inc., volunteers are campaigning now.
Those in attendance were inspired by the testimonials presented by Mr. Doug Hill and Melanie Doyle

Retired School Teacher Doug Hill DHH Family Camp Director Melanie Doyle
Mr.Hill spoke about Tommy, an Outdoor Education Camper whom he taught and who had attended Camp Marston sixth grade camp. Tommy's life was changed by his experience at camp. He has gone from a struggling, socially-challenged youth to one who is now prospering and successful. Mr. Hill linked this turnaround to his experience at YMCA Camp Marston and the kindness and attention he was shown while he attended.
Mrs. Doyle Spoke about the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Family Camp. She showed slides and spoke eloquently about her own expereince with her son and the experiences of other families that have benefited from this great program!
The highlight of the evening was when young Crosby Doyle took the microphone and spoke of how his life has been enhanced by his experience with the DHH Camp and his time at Camp Marston!
